Does anyone remember:
When Saddam held several foreign families hostage...brought out the cameras to show how humanely he was treating them? Another parade for propaganda purposes?
There was a 8-9 year old girl he tried to "comfort"/console who stood rigidly and was virtually non-communicative. Whether it was terror, or instruction from her parents: she clearly was not going to play his game.
If only the British soldiers were able to show that degree of courage/resolution...of a 9 year old girl.
They are an embarrassment to their armed services--the same culture that produced the resilient core of men who fought to the death in the Zulu wars,
marched for hundreds of parched miles in Afghanistan, stood at attention under the blazing tropical sun in Japanese prison camps, and tunnelled through frozen earth as POW's in Germany.
Now, they make videos for fanatical moslems, pulling a Chamberlain by shaking his hand in front of all the cameras, apologizing for something they never did. Pathetic and spineless.
Show me the cracked ribs, missing fingernails, the cigarette burns, the broken teeth that they endured. Our POW's from Viet Nam: many never cracked--and I appreciate them all the more when compared with these British powder-puff girls.

Israel has already come out and said she lied about the meeting in Israel, and have said they gave her NO message to give to the Syrians regarding ANYTHING.
The others that were in the meeting in Syria have come out and said nothing was said referring to Syria willingness to seek peace with Israel, and a matter of fact just the opposite message was given and received.
None of the republicans that went are passing themselves off as heads of state, nor are they trying to convince enemies of the state of new American diplomacy, or missions, nor are they the third in line for the presidency.

When a left wing rag like the Washington Post calls a left wing hag like Pelosi, "foolish", you probably ought to pay attention. Palosi had to have stepped far out of bounds for the Post to slam her.
