BREAKING NEWS: Jeff Gordon car has fails postrace inspection, will start Daytona 500

Sweet 16

^^8^^
Starting Jeffie at the back of the pack is a joke! One good wreck to shuffle the field and you can go from back to front or vice versa in an instant. So much for cracking down. Yet another season of selective enforcement of the rules to look forward to....

NASCAR also said Elliott Sadler and Scott Riggs' infractions were unintentional. Why a harsher penalty for them?

And one inch doesn't give you an advantage at Daytona
Actually if you did any reading before you :blahblah: you would know that Riggs and Sadler were penalized for spoiler bolts with holes drilled in them to allow air to escape from the trunk area. Both were caught on pre-qual inspection and made to change them so they did not qualify with the bad parts installed. Drilled holes = premeditation=penalty. Advantage attempted: small = small penalty

Kenseth and Kahne both had aero/ducting violations (bigger deal than altered bolts) and they were not caught until after qualification. Because they qualified with unapproved alterations their time was disallowed. Because their infraction was more serious in terms of an advantage = More serious penalty. Aero alterations = premeditation = penalty.

Waltrip had a fuel additive, premeditated, huge advantage, huge penalty.

Gordon had a bolts come loose on a shock bracket, bracket slid, car too low. Premeditation? Doubtful but perhaps, but not hard fact like holes drilled or hidden duct work.

If you were listening before you went :blahblah: you'd know those bolts could've easily been placed by mistake. Instead of rushing to attacking something said because you want to be quick to shoot the messenger, open your eyes and read.

Darrell Waltrip said during Daytona practice that those bolts EASILY could've been drilled mistakenly. And as far as it's concerned, I'm going to take the word of a three time Winston Cup champ over your mimserable self-centered ass.

And are you willing to say Jeff didn't get an advantage out of what happened to his car? :tap:

I don't think Riggs, Sadler or Gordon's were intentional. But NASCAR has no defined meaning for intent.

Well you go ahead and take the word of Waltrip and cling your your pin head conspiracy theory. I am cool with Robin Pemberton, Gary Nelson and the hundreds of other inspectors who do this stuff everyday.

You know you should do everyone a favor and enlist, then after some crusty Chief, Gunny or First Sergeant beats about 125 pounds of dumb out of your carcass you will either smarten up or learn to shut your pie hole to at least disguise the fact you are retarded.

I've come to the conclusion that you don't know as much as you think you know about NASCAR. What are you a 2 year fan? All you know how to do is bash. You're a dick too.
:jet: Thanks for the karma Pete.

For the record, I've been a race fan a hell of a lot longer than you think.

It doesn't surprise me, 99.9% of all your conclusions are wrong anyway, why would this one be any different.

2 year fan? Lets put it this way I have socks that have been fans of NASCAR longer than you have been alive, and they are smarter than you too.

I know how to do other things than bash, I will show you one day if you open the "stupid vent" on your face you are so fond of flapping and something comes out that is not retarded.

BREAKING NEWS: I am a dick, your point is?

I didn't give you karma, it must have been one of your other fans. :lmao:

You do realize you could look at his profile and find out....

But that's assuming he's being honest ... which is almost worse than assuming he knows what he's talking about. :ohwell:

Since he claims to be 19, and he acts that age, I'll believe it.

I just find it funny that he's getting into a "I've been a NASCAR fan longer than you!" fight with Pete, who is 2 1/2 times his age!

Once more conservatives misrepresenting what I say...

I NEVER said I was a race fan longer than Pete. I never even suggested that. I was saying the anonymous karma giver who said I've only been a race fan for some two years evidently doesn't know anything about me. I said I've been a race fan longer than anonymous karma giver thinks I have... Plain and simple.
