Does anyone know the status of the survivor of auto accident? Haven't heard anything recently.

The news lastnight is still calling her a surviver so I'm ASSUMING that she is still in the hospital but is going to okay. Remember just Assuming.

I saw this the other day on my cell phone (maybe monday):

The condition of the sole survivor of a deadly crash of a medevac helicopter last month has been upgraded, a hospital official said.

Cindy Rivers, a spokeswoman for Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, said 18-year-old Jordan Wells' condition has been upgraded to serious but stable. Rivers said Wells still has many months of recovery ahead of her.

Andy where are you, Andy knows the family. Might try sending him a PM.

Send one to Vrai while you're at it. :killingme

She thinks I'm a troll who's just here to piss on her politics threads and otherwise have no use on these forums. :drama:

Jordan's better. Still serious but stable. She spoke last week for the first time, apologized for wrecking the car. She doesn't remember the helicopter crash. :yay: I don't think she knows Ashley died.

Doctors still don't know the full extent of her injuries - but she should live. Given the seriousness here, it's be safe to say she has months of rehabilitation ahead and it ain't gonna be a walk in the park either.

Sounds like a bargain to me.

If this is something that insurance companies pay for why not bill insurance companies? What ever money is paid for by the insurance it goes toward the upkeep of the helicopters. Something is better than nothing. My uncle lives in pa and was flown after an accident and it cost about 7k. The insurance picked up most of it. Isn't that an option?

Someone said in a post sometime back (may have been at the beginning of this thread, but I'm not going to go searching for it) that the MSP helicopters are funded primarily by the state.
