it's ivory w/rum pink boning in the bodice; alencon lace on the tulle skirt, and rum pink satin down the back. it does come in all white too, but I wasn't going "there"

My best friend is wedding dress shopping, so far her top pick is an off-white dress, which I'm sure is beautiful, but being that she's waiting until she gets married to have sex, I think she should at least opt for white. I mean, I'm gonna wear white whenever I get married...

I liked the antique/victorian feel of this one ... maybe I should hang on to it in case I need another one down the road.

I did that once, and by the time I was ready to use it I didn't like it nearly as much and ended up getting rid of it and finding another.

I figured when I get time, I'll throw it on flea-bay if I can ever figure out how to hock something on there.

I'm not into the whole "feeling pretty" thing ... I feel "pretty" when I have my tool belt on, hammer in hand wearing a tankini (no bra) and cut off jean-shorts, hair and top soaked by a hose, and water dripping down my legs.

Men love women who know how to handle a tool.

I'm not a girly-girl myself, but I really get into the fancy clothes deal. I cannot wait until I go shopping with my friend and get to pick out a bridesmaid's dress

got a girl here at work into the girly-girl stuff, clothes, etc. She was in boston this week for some liberal young womens conference (she's an intern here); she went into some store, picked out a pair of shoes and a blazer ... got to the register, and the clerk told her, "That'll be $1200 (some)." :shocking:

She didn't realize she'd picked out a pair of Prada pumps and some hot-shot-designer-label blazer!

I have to wait until October 05. :ohwell: I would say that I want more of my friends to get married, but I honestly don't like any of them enough to be in their weddings, even if they asked me. I'm her maid of honor (and she won't have any "bridesmaids"), and I will return the favor to her when I get married. We have a pact that we have veto rights on the bridesmaids dress we have to wear.
