I am sorry to say that my girlfriend and I can no longer keep the brindle English Mastiff, Maxwell, we have had for a year. :frown: A friend of our pawned him off on us, although we have learned to love him very dearly. We have to move and we cant take him where we are going. I would really like to find him a good home, rather than taking him to SMAWLS, but im not sure i will have a choice.

He is 5 years old, and in great shape. Everyone that sees him says that he is the prettiest mastiff that they have ever seen. Hes not fat like alot of them tend to be.
If you would like more info on him, or pictures, or would like to meet him, just PM me.

Thanks!

Is he neutered? Up to date on shots and heart worm meds? Is he crate trained and have good potty habits? Does he get along with cats and kids?

He is not neutered, hes full bread. but we would be willing to sit down and talk about us possibly paying for him to be neutered. He is update today on shots and his yummy heart worm meds. He is NOT crate trained. I dont feel like he needs to be. He has good potty habits. of course if he is taken out on a reasonable schedule. and if he has to go in between, he will let you know. and he is great with cats and kids. I have 4 cats and he lets them crawl all over him.

Omg you're getting rid of Max??? :bawl: But he's the bestest! Too bad I can't take him where I'm at either :frown:

He can be a lil slobbery but he's great! You won't be disappointed with this dog...

GQ lemme know if you two need help packing/unloading or anything when you move.

More info on Max
He is great with cats and children. He loves to meet other dogs, but hasnt lived with one scince he was a puppy. I wouldnt want to place him with a mean or grumpy dog though. he is well potty trained and will let you know when he has to go out. He loves busy bones. he is very loyal. He is a little depressed right now because he knows something is going on. Please know that mastiffs slober. its an easy fix if you wipe his mouth after he eats or drinks though. He is full bread and not fixed. he doesnt hump or spray. but if one of the many peolple that has already contacted me is sure they want him for the long hall and the only thing that is hold them back is that he isnt fixed, we can work something out fiancal to help cover the bill. Please contact me if you would like more info on him. Hes a great dog with a big heart.
