Please, please ,please make sure you find someone that knows this breed. I have seen to many that end up in homes with people that do not know the breed and they end up dumped at shelters or tied up in back yards. I would take him but I have 2 mastiffs myself and my husband would not be happy if I brought another one home. You can also look to a rescue groups to rehome him. Try Mastiff Club of America.

I think there is also a Mastiff rescue group too. I will try to find the info. Gypsy I pm'd you my number if you cannot find a home we will try. I do not want to see him in the wrong hands either. But I am afraid my male mastiff will try to be dominent towards him.

That is my main concern. Id love to find someone who has had a mastiff before. Although ive never have had a mastiff before Max and i learned to love the heck of him. I just cant provide him with what any dog deserves. I cant afford a house or a peice of land at this point in my life and i dont have a whole lot of time. Its not fair to him. I dont want him to spend the rest of his life in appartments. Im moving on may 14. I dont have much time. If you know anyone that would be interested in Max please let me know. And thank you for your concern.

I have looked into mastiff rescue groups and i have only found one call Marnay Mastiffs and they are no longer taking any mastiffs. They have switched to wippets(sp?). Imagine that.Palominolover

if there is anyone in the area who could take your dog for you.

Someone came last night to pick up Maxwell and take him to their house for a week to try him out in their home. Great Family. i held my composure until after they left and i cried like all night. I terribly miss him already.
