NASCAR's Southern California races are a waste of time.

And since NASCAR's excuse is about how the weather is unpredictable in California, it's the 3rd race run this year that's been full of rain.

No s**t, aps. Damn race is running, isn't it? Didn't the Daytona 500 get called early on account of RAIN? And Andy's gonna b**ch about Cali while they're STILL RUNNING?

Congrats to Matt Kenseth on win #2 of the '09 season! :buddies:

At least I could stay awake through the end of the Daytona 500.

Publicity, Celebrities, and the Coin, are the reasons NASCAR is in Cali.
Have they EVER sold out an event out there?? I believe not.
I have to agree with you about "The Rock", it's basically a big Richmond, and the drivers love them some Richmond.
Been to Rockingham many times and was a great place to watch an event.

It's getting to the point that there are so many tracks that it's time for just one venue a year @ each facility, except Daytona. That would open up the schedule for Iowa, Kentucky and even Rockingham again..

Iowa, realistically, isn't big enough for a Cup event. Kentucky's going to get a date. I imagine NASCAR will take Nationwide to Rockingham. I know there's been talk of giving New Jersey a Truck race and Rockingham a Nationwide race but nothing's certain.

I'm going down to Rockingham for both ARCA Series races in April and October. Andy Hillenberg's done some really awesome things with the track.

I wish Nationwide series would go back to Myrtle Beach. I scheduled vacations around that race.

There's a lot of tracks I wish they'd return to.

Ain't gonna happen. They got rid of the Southern 500 for this piece of #### track and they got rid of Rockingham and North Wilkesboro altogether for Texas and New Hampshire. It doesn't matter if California and New Hampshire are the most boring tracks ever:yawn:, NASCAR sees more money there.

I wish Nationwide would return to Nashville Speedway USA.

New promoter at that track is terrible:smack: just canned the ARCA and Busch East races:smack:

The second half of last night's race was pretty good with Kenseth and Gordon battling the last 125 laps and Wildthing and the Biff driving their azzes off.

Kyle came close to doing something nobody's ever done before - winning all three races at the same track on the same weekend.

Love him or hate him, Kyle Busch is the best driver in racing.

Yeah, schrub is definately the hottest shoe out there, he led a total of 238 laps out of 250, for both events, all in the same DAY. I just wish he drove a Mopar, can no way pull for a Yota.
