Brits Caught Talking While Driving To Be Jailed Talking, texting, or otherwise using a mobile device while driving is becoming illegal in more and more states here in the United States. None of the penalties here are as severe as those about to go into effect over in the United Kingdom, though. Break the no-texting-and-driving law in England and you'll be sent up to the Big House.

I've seen ppl reading, smacking their kids in the back seat, looking for something on the floor of their car. Hell, I talk on my phone, text, and swerve myself from time to time... I am in no position to judge anyone else.

That's a very dangerous thing to do and it's become required by law since the advent of air bags. I'd much rather be able to have the kid beside me.

That's a very dangerous thing to do and it's become required by law since the advent of air bags. I'd much rather be able to have the kid beside me.

A short stick will increase your reach without imparing your driving.

I've seen people going down the road looking at maps, fixing makeup and I even saw somebody using a curling iron! Not sure what she had it hooked up to but she was twirling it! I've been known to freshen lipstick at a red light and I'm not an angel with my cell phone but I sure don't try to drive & use a curling iron and I'll pull off the road to read the map! Bondes get a bad enough rap.
