What ever happened to them, it was a big thing when I moved here 20 years ago, but they seem to have disappeared over the years. :howdy:

My number was 1300. :howdy:

The way I understand it, they disbanded when some real trouble started frequenting their events. Folks from way up North. The last Bsnort party I went to, there was a guy there with a gun. There was no trouble, but I did actually see the handgun.

I believe there are still 'smaller' parties every summer.
But I haven't been for yeeeeears.

It used to be a real blast!

Number 2012 here.

The original Buck Snorts sort of “morfed” into the Howl at the Moon Mid-night Charity Ball which is usually held at Sea Side View Camp ground in late July or early August. I haven’t got the e-mail yet about this year so I don’t know if anyone is organizing it this year. I started attending Buck Snort in 92 and have always had a great time. Camping out, watching the bands, dancing a bit, hang’n out with friends. Always good time. As with any gathering, problems do crop up now an then but DO NOT believe most of the rumors you might here about this great bunch of folks. Ken? Help me here.

BadGirl

I am so very blessed
I had to linger in line and butt in when "my" number came up. I wanted badly to get my birthyear so that it would be easy for me to remember my membership number.

One year my friends and I won the 'Best Campsite' award. We had a generator hooked up to power the blenders for freshmade margaritas. :yum:
