They disbanded because no one wanted to be an officer within the organization. It had nothing to do with fights, drugs, trouble or guns. I was an officer shortly after they became organized as a not for profit organization and remained one until right before they disbanded.

The main issue was mostly too many events voted to be supported by the members that would attend the meetings and too few supportees that would show up for the events. Not to mention the paperwork headache of being incorporated.

I am one of the founding members! Gosh the good old days. I remember the mystery tours on the bus and the great parties. :otter: Does anyone remember when they were held down on Queen Tree Road? The parties were there the first couple of years. I was initiated the second year. Ken - I'm surprised you don't have a lower number.

Did you wake up with your pants around your ankles and your butt on fire??

NO smarty pants:neener: The first year I woke up in the back of my grandma's Lincoln... My friends were nice enough to make sure I got home.. Pants intact:moon:

I've had send out search parties... I've made a fool of myself, but who cares.
I've stayed up all night with the guys and watched them jam....

I've had alot of fun at those affairs and never got in any trouble TYVM
:neener:

People think it's all about either booze or drugs or fighting.... I never saw more than a glimpse of any of that stuff. :yay:

I didn't get out of the Air Force until 1986 and went to my first party in 1987, until then I had never heard of it before. Thought you would have remembered that.

Oh yeah, remember the green elephant and Hungry barfing off the porch. :lmao:

I just saw this thread and I'm proud to say that my momma was # 04 and daddy was #66. Jessie (#01) reserved a number for me when I was young. I was supposed to be #1231.
