Here is Buddy, now 11 weeks old on his first visit to the vet. He was like this throughout all of his 1st shots, nail clipping, fecal, microchipping and ear cleaning.

This was his first visit since we have had him. The breeders also took him to one. Just wanted to clarify so no one else thinks that I waited too long to see the vet. Got a pm regarding this.

It's quite apparent you took him to the vet during his "nap" time LOL

when we took bruno for her first trip to the vet we had to hold her (she was afraid) and now she is totally scared shiatless when we take her and she tries to go for the door the second we walk in. When i took her last week she tried to sit in my sister-inlaws lap and we had to remind her shes not a lap dog but that didn't work to well. Then the vet tech took her to the back to pull her dewclaw that was hanging sideways and brought her back out to me and bruno pulled me to the door she wanted out of there. I don't understand why she is all of a suddenly afraid of the vets office but she is and she shakes like a leaf.

did you get my pm? My doxies are terrified of the vet. Don't know why.

This picture doesn't reflect the real buddy. When he isn't at the vet, he is quite a handful. You wouldn't believe by looking at this photo, he is going to be a bird dog. He is into everything around here.

My mom grew up with a springer spanial and swears that they are the "perfect" dog. He's just beautiful!

Buddy says thank you for all the nice "He's cute" comments. I will post more "cute" pictures of Buddy as I get them. We are working on manners training right now and next week, we start (or I should say I'll start ) his hunting training. I have spent the better part of 2 weeks studying how to train him for hunting. This will be my first time training a dog to hunt and to develop him for field trials.
