Burgers

For hamburgers. Season the meat as you like. Form thinner patties (2 for each burger), sandwich cheese of your choice inbetween the 2 patties, seal really well. Make an indentation in the middle of the top of your formed burger about 2" wide (that will help them not to swell). Yummy! Nicks has NY strip on sale for 2.99/lb this week. We always buy that sale. You end up with about 18-1" or so steaks for around $50 making them about $3 a piece. We always have them in the freezer. Throw some on the grill, salad, and garlic bread, or baked potato. Easy scrumptious dinner.

Seriously, you could try brushing some teriyaki marinade on them as you cook them. It makes them taste yummy! Also, we use Montreal Steak Seasoning on everything we grill! Really good flavor! Enjoy your steaks and burgers!
That's what's cooking tonight. :yum:

I'm a purist. My favorite way is sea salt (or kosher) and freshly ground pepper. Nothing else. Toast the bun, add a slice of red onion when it comes off the grill and we're golden.

I love love LOVE chicken on the grill, husband doesn't :-(

for chicken on the grill, layer several layers of foil then coat it well with pam (or add some oil if you don't mind). Season your chicken throw some slivered onions, peppers, squash etc. on one end and your chicken on the other. Just before the chicken is done, move it from the foil to the grill. It keeps your chicken moist, and it still tastes like it was cooked on the grill.

I'm sure that would probably work better. I know that a friend of mine made the ranch ones and they were good. I didn't think to ask her how she made them.

See, I made them with that Todd's Dirt seasoning, and was bummed out because they smelled AMAZING, tasted.... ehhh... just okay

I HAVE heard that chicken thighs are the BEST part of a chicken as far as flavor goes, I just don't know how to grill them. Oh and BTW I forgot to add that I also made blackened sirloin which are In the picture and they are AWESOME. Never blackened a thing before but will be trying chicken soon !!!!

Chicken thighs are the best. I just grill them and put bbq sauce on toward the end. As far as blackened chicken? Not intentionally.

I have done fish. Tuna mostly. Outside though on a propane burner. Grill might get hot enough if you are using charcoal and put the cast iron skillet right on the coals.

What about seasoned potato wedges on the grill... anyone do that??

That and veggies sealed in foil with a little oil and salt/pepper.

My husband makes THE BEST grilled chicken thighs everrrr! I'm not sure exactly what he puts on them though. I know there's hot sauce, worcestershire sauce and there might be garlic and onion powder. Mmmm they're so tender and juicy and delicious :yum:

I boil potatoes until they're almost tender, cut them into wedges, drizzle a little oil on them and season with salt and pepper then grill for a few minutes per side until they're done.

I've also skipped the boiling part and just put them right on the grill, normally I cut the potatoes into coins though so they're even in thickness.
