A ghillie suit. Never a dull moment around here.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I wasn't sure if a fabric store would carry it but I suppose that will be my first stop tomorrow!

I bought some at JoAnns fabric years ago. I use it some times as a table cloth in the dinning room and it looks awesome!

I have bought burlap from Joann's, but the weave may be tighter than the weave in your picture.

Nickel, how much do you need? I've got lots leftover from the wedding and could just mail you some (unless you need it today).

I'm not sure how much we will need. We need to make the base, and then tie strips of burlap or jute twine all over it. At least 3 yards - probably more.

I'll check tonight. I'm thinking I may have a whole bolt almost.

I've got a ton of the stuff. The weave is tighter, but I'd be glad to send you some if you want it.

hope you're going to wear it in the dead of winter, that fabric will make for a VERY hot ghillie.
