Burn Barrel

My daughter is looking for a burn barrel. Does any place locally sell these? If not, where can I get a 55 gallon steel drum and make one?

I believe Burch Oil sells 55 gallon drums for around $5-$10 each. Also, Ace sells galvanized burn cans, but they're about 20 gallons and very expensive.

I don't think burning in a zinc treated can is a wise move. There are some nasty toxic byproducts once you heat the can up.

You could also go to any mechanics shop and see if they have any old oil barrels. That's how I got my barrels.
