I really hate when that happens. Last year one of our neighbors burned on Halloween. It was terrible. Everyone was out trying to trick or treat, and some a-hole is filling the whole neighborhood up with awful smelling smoke.

To Burn or Not to Burn

This Post makes no sense when would be a good time to burn when it is raining outside? Not to mention that they waited till after 5pm which the county requires you to wait till after 4. So what day would you recommend they do the burning? :flowers:

They could compost stuff...or get a chipper shredder and turn it into mulch.

We must be talking about two different set of neighbors it seems, anything after 4 is fair game but till then is not everyone knows that.

And good ones they were. I myself would love to have a chipper, but :nomoney:. I compost most of our yard debris for the veg garden. Living in hardwood heaven we have quite a few dead limbs that we use for kindling in the toolshed woodstove.

I'm getting one of those barrel composters. This one is free...someone is giving it to me, so I'm gonna give it a try and see how well it works.
