Blazer hit a cat

Son came home today and said that a red Blazer hit a cat at his school's parking lot. Blazer kept on going and never stopped. Cat did not die instantly.

I was thinking two thoughts at once. I fixed the title. Son was on the bus when he saw the cat get hit.

He was more shocked than upset but I don't think he realized that the cat wouldn't just get up and be ok after awhile. He thought because the cat was still moving that it would be ok. I just hope somebody removes the body before school tomorrow. That would be a horrible site for the kids for sure.

That cat was dead there this afternoon around 12:30 when I left the school

Must have happened when my son was getting back from his field trip. He was back at school by 12:30. Hopefully the cat didn't suffer long.

Yep probably... I left right after they came back from the fieldtrip. Looked pretty fresh..
