Entering your zip code is not 100% accurate. My mailing address is Mechanicsville, but we don't have cable or DSL available in my neighborhood.

So you're saying I'm being a jackass for offering help, doing some online searches, offering websites, and then being criticized? Whether it was criticizing me or not (as a later post seems to say it wasn't), it appeared to be since I was the only one to make a post in between. If that had been a complaint after I tried to help, that would have been pretty rude and ungrateful.

SoMDLady -- hope I was able to help, but if not then sorry. The only people who can give you an answer without a doubt would be people living in Bushwood. Otherwise we can only go based on hearsay and what we find on websites. Hopefully you'll find exactly what you need, but Metrocast isn't that bad. Most of us deal with it and have few complaints.

Just a question ... why isn't Comcast available in the majority of St. Mary's?

I'll be moving down to Mechanicsville and it seems like my only option for tv is either Metrocast or Direct TV.


Yeah ... looking at Metrocast and I'm not happy. Where I'm living now, I get Comcast Digital Cable PLUS HBO every month for $38 after taxes. Now I'm looking at Digital Cable with Metrocast WITHOUT HBO for $58.15???

This just seems a little ridiculous ......
