I know a lot of people here use Keurigs or something like it. I saw this on TV earlier and thought it was a neat idea. May save some money.

Nice idea to save money, but defeats the purpose of the Keurig in the first place.

At that point just go get a Mr Coffee.

The idea of a Keurig is fresh coffee from the freshest coffee grounds possible, through sealed K-Cups.

If you going to be spooning old stale coffee every morning to fill up the "cafe-Cup" just go back to using the old Mr Coffee stand-by and save a HUGE amount of money!! There definitely won't be a better taste by running stale coffee grounds thorugh a Keurig vice a Mr Coffee..

I have the EkoBrew cup and I like it really well, when I use it. When I was in Lincoln I bought a bunch of bags of my favorite licorice coffee, which obviously don't come in a K-cup. I tried to be all economical and greenie and use it all the time, but like Bob said, that defeats the purpose of the Keurig.

I've got the Keurig one and use it once in a while. Cost about $10 with postage I think. Those cafecups look cheaply made.

Use the Keurig, version daily with Maxwell House or Folgers. Wife and SIL do the Kcup designer coffee and tea thing. Works out for us to only have one coffee maker on the counter.

I've heard a few say that but I really don't mind. I always have tons of k-cups but some of the coffee I really like is some of the flavored bags like Godiva coffees... like pumpkin spice.

I use my good ole Mr. Coffee and Folgers Columbian. I make two cups for me in the morning. One to have when I'm putting my face on for work and the other for my drive to work. My husband likes a cup of coffee on the weekends and when my daughters visit they like coffee all day, So it doesnt pay for us to have a single serve coffeemaker. "To Each His Own" as the saying goes.

I don't shop that often - just not my thing but when I do... I haven't seen them in k-cups.

BJ's

$39 for 80 cups..

I don't drink a lot of coffee, so by the time I'd use a pound it would be beyond stale, that and I'm the only one at home that drinks it, so only drink it at work.

My last k-cup SHOULD be as fresh as my first.. and at this rate I'll be done with this box of 80 about 2014.. (I have about 200 or more assorted flavors I'm working on too.. Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Frosted Doughnut, French Vanilla..etc.. etc.. )

Come in in the AM and fill up my travel mug of 16 ounces of life saving nectar from the caffeine Gods..

The biggest benefit I get from the Keurig is the choices..

Between my stash, and my co-workers we probably have 15-20 different flavors or types of coffee to choose from.

I drink coffee like a freak and I love that I don't have to commit to a pot - I can just pop a K-cup in the machine and viola! Cuppa joe!

And don't bother to tell me that I spelled it wrong - I meant to spell it that way and I'm over-caffeinated, so don't fool with me. :boxing:

A viola cup would be larger than a violin or even a fiddle cup, right?
