Really? How come?

I love Cafe des Artistes. The food isn't fancy French with weird sauces, etc, but very good. I would definitely get a reservation if you want to be there for VDay.

:yeahthat:

About 6 months ago they opened for a group of us when they were normally closed for lunch. A Saturday I think. Anyway the food is awesome! Planning on taking hubby there for valentines also. Not for the atmosphere, but the food itself.

And yes, you will definitely need reservations for valentines.

I would definitely recommend a reservation for Valentines Day… Its really worth the trip into Leonardtown to experience fine dinning. The food is excellent! The atmosphere has a warm feeling and the staff is courteous and makes sure all your needs are met… I have never had a bad meal when I have eaten their. I would highly recommend and evening at Café Des Artistes

I have noticed that people who like cafeteria food, really can't wrap their taste buds around De-Artistes.

I work on the square and there is always the most amazing smells coming out of there  I haven't been though, it's not the kind of menu my husband would enjoy:smile:

Yeah I wont eat snails either :lmao: but I heard the food is good and someone plays music at your table?

Can't put my finger on it, but couldn't wait to leave, and haven't been back. It's just one of those places that makes my skin crawl.

Probably some of the ghosts from Duke's Bar are haunting it and giving you the creeps.
