Cafe Rio - Thoughts on food

The one on GMR boils its cow heads fresh. Most people would not like authentic Mexican food if they had it.

Gotta love it, one town over from me has a great Spanish Mercado, if I time my grocery shopping time correctly he will whistle when I park to walk around back and have lunch with his family and workers. He is from outside of Puebla where all the guys are from that work for one of my sister's..
Smokey, spicy and dirty....

I would drive past any of our local Tex-Mex (or whatever the hell you call it) joints to get to anything else.

Now I did see a show about Oaxacan (southern Mexico) cuisine on one of the Food Network shows. That looked very interesting and nothing like we get here. I'd love to try that.

Indy has a great restaurant on the west side called The Tamale Place..
Their tamales and tacos are killer..
When my kid flies in and out it's a mandatory stop both ways..
It was on Guy Ferraris a few years ago.. if you or Gil goes to Indy, I recommend lunch there..
