The LA Water Chief who is paid $750,000 a year: “What attracted me most to the role was social equity. It’s important for me that everything we do is with an equity lens and social justice and writing the wrongs that we’ve done in the past.”

The math ain't mathin'.

It's almost like the ruling party in California (and across the country) is trying to get rid of the job creators and the producers (already a smaller demographic than the takers) by making their/our burden so onerous that we give up and leave. It's like they're trying to segregate the entire country, wittingly or otherwise.

"We" didn't commit any wrongs in the past, you c*nt. Ever since the beginning of the Civil War, our country has fought and died to right the wrongs of those who came before us.

Plus, if you want to assign blame, you stupid bint, blame it on your Demonrat party, and their predecessors. They were/are the ones in favor of division, hatred, social upheaval, chaos and destruction. As far as I can tell, they want this country to look just like Africa.

Firefighter reveals two men were caught on camera lighting fire just before Palisades blaze erupted in LA

Two men are said to have been caught on camera dumping gasoline and setting it alight immediately before the devastating Palisades fire broke out, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

A resident of the ritzy celeb-packed area reported the video to a senior firefighter once the flames had started consuming the area.
'By then we were too busy,' the firefighter told DailyMail.com. 'We told him to take the video to the police.'

But what happened to the footage remains a mystery as cops have not confirmed that the uncontrollable blaze, which has caused damage in the billions of dollars, was set deliberately.

News of the video comes amid growing suspicions of arson or foul play after one person was arrested for allegedly starting another blaze, the Kenneth Fire, on Thursday, police said. The man has not been charged.

Two days before that incident, a senior firefighter was one of the first on the scene battling the original Palisades blaze with his crew on North Piedra Morada Drive at the top of the Highlands Palisades neighborhood, when a resident approached him with a shocking claim.
'We had a resident come to us and said he got a video of two men dumping gas and lighting it off,' said the LAFD official, who asked to remain anonymous.

The subsequent fire grew to almost 20,000 acres and wiped out most of the elite Pacific Palisades neighborhood.
Hmmmm. I wonder where all those military age Chinese men illegally crossing the border went?

You know this kinda reminds me of a detective show where a murder happens and everyone blames this, that, him, her, circumstance, the economy, society - so that ULTIMATELY -

Somehow no one’s to blame.

And finally SOMEONE chimes in - hello? we STILL have a dead body.

These folks try to make the case that no one’s to blame, they didn’t ACTUALLY cut the budget, and so on -

Doesn’t change that the FIRE is still raging, the damage is horrific, who knows WHY the hydrants don’t work or why there’s evidently no serious plan for catastrophe.

I don’t CARE who’s to blame - right now I’d like to know what you plan to do other than vainly HOPE what you’re DOING will work. Geez, this isn’t the only place in the world that deals with wildfires.

While the fire in Cali is horrible and I do feel for the folks out there BUT the folks in NC from the hurricane/flooding are still suffering and it seems that they fell off the radar of the media after a week. These PSA announcements on the Cali fires all weekend during the football games have kinda pissed me off...they could, at least, mention NC's need for help also as it seems FEMA doesn't give a chit.

California Gov. @GavinNewsom said on the Pod Save America Democrat show that Donald Trump "made up" claims that Newsom rejected efforts to divert water from northern California further south. Newsom lied.

In 2020, Newsom opposed the Trump administration's presidential memorandum on water in California, saying that his goal was to protect a "highly imperiled fish species close to extinction."

California Gov. Newsom tries to weasel out of blame with reservoir claim — is immediately called out

California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sunday tried to play semantics and weasel out of blame by saying state reservoirs were “completely full” when the LA fires broke out — even though a county-run reservoir had been drained at the time.

Newsom made the shocking statement while addressing criticism from President-elect Donald Trump over the state’s water management ahead of the infernos.

“The reservoirs are completely full — the state reservoirs here in Southern California. That mis- and disinformation I don’t think advantages or aids any of us,” Newsom told NBC News in a pretaped interview that aired on “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

Reporter Jacob Soboroff pressed Newsom on his response by pointing out how the LA County-run Santa Ynez Reservoir was bone dry — something that even has prompted a probe from Newsom.

Nearly 100k People Slap Karen Bass With Petition to Resign As Even a Kardashian Rips Her As a ‘Joke’

Nearly 100,000 signatures have been gathered on a petition demanding Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass resign immediately over her "gross mismanagement" of the devastating wildfires engulfing her city.

The fires in and around the LA area have resulted in at least 16 deaths (five died in the Palisades fire on the west side of Los Angeles), burned over 36,000 acres, and destroyed more than 12,000 homes and structures.

Those numbers, tragically, are likely to go higher as firefighters battle to contain the blaze, weather forecasts predict more winds, and thousands of piles of rubble have yet to be searched for victims.

Democrat politicians in California have done little to instill confidence that they are handling the situation, instead focusing all of their efforts on deflecting blame.

One of those individuals is Bass. However, a new petition on Change.org initiated by LA residents is putting the focus squarely on her.

"We, the undersigned residents of Los Angeles and concerned citizens, urgently call for the immediate recall of Mayor Karen Bass due to her gross mismanagement and failure to effectively respond to the devastating 2025 fires in and around the city of Los Angeles," the petition reads.
