I'm sorry! I didn't realize that you didn't know that -- just figured that you knew since this was the "scanner" forum.
They are very calm and they are calling out their names, they never call out their names on a real fire, and least not that I've ever heard.
Yes they do. LUNAR = Location, Unit, Name, Area, Reason for Mayday. If it's a Mayday, there wouldn't be more companies. Companies are determined by the size of the fire, what level they're on, etc etc. A RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) is established on all working fires, and if a firefighter calls out a MAYDAY, they're used to retrieve the downed firefighter.
With that said, if they're training on a Friday night, it's most likely on an abandoned structure they'll burn this weekend (or in the near future)

Huntingtown is also having a drill today, don't know where but heard them earlier, proably same location as last night. Whatever they were using last night drilling on, they are proably finished with and are burning it down today.:shrug:
