You have not been buying enough stuff at the Pet Pantry.

Looks like the server is down. Follow the instructions to report a proper noted at the top of this forum.

My digital trunking handheld at home not picking up anything from Calvert, all other counties seem to be working fine. I even unlocked the public transportation trunk and still nothing

Just called Radio Shack, they are experiencing the same issue....they said Calvert must have changed something and they are trying to figure out what has been changed. He said most likely we will have to all reprogram once whatever they have changed has been figured out.

cgwife, what kind of a scanner do you have?

I have a plug in base unit that is a pro 2055 and a handheld portable that is....hmmmm....the sticker is worn off but it is a Radio Shack 1000 channel triple trunking.....does that help? LOL

you would need to download software and have a compatible USB cable to program the scanner using your computer. I would just take them to Radio Shack and have them program it. If you have any questions, just let me know

I just came back from Prince Frederick Radio Shack. They were awful!!! Said they were not able to fix it, didn't know what the county did. It was as if I was disturbing the three of the guys!!!

I'm going to make a couple of phone calls tomorrow to see if I can learn anything. Please let us know if you have any luck.

depending on your scanner, you need to add these frequencies to one of the banks. a lot of times the banks are numbered 0 through 9. on a radioshack scanner if the little cursor is blinking on the correct bank you have calvert information on, you can hit the program button and scroll up or down to enter these new frequencies.
851.91250a

852.13750c

852.18750c

852.25000c

853.35000a
here are some examples of the old frequencies to help you if you're not sure what bank to be in:866.91250, 867.13750, 867.18750, 867.25000, 868.35000

I am trying this now but have never programmed anything before (radio shack did it). I hit program and see these old frequencies....so I started typing in the new one and can't figure out how to get the letter a in there? Also, after I enter one what do I push to save it? THANK YOU!!!!!

If you keep pressing the up arrow to a different bank that isn't being used, you can just type in the new frequency. The old frequencies can stay there if it's too difficult to write over them. Sorry, don't worry about the little letter. After you've added the new frequency, just hit the enter button and it should automatically change from FM (like the radio frequency) to MO (Motorola). Sometimes after rebanding, if the third decimal spot is a zero, it may give the scanner some fits.

I think I did it but the 852.13750 is nothing but static? Should I just delete that one? Not sure which one that is??? Also, all of mine are under Bank 0 is that ok? You have been a lifesaver, thank you so much!!

yeah, if you hit the program button and scroll up or down to the frequency that's giving you a problem you can hit the L/Out button. You can also check the squelch knob on top and turn it to see if that helps. think of your banks as a shelf on a bookcase: one shelf for calvert, st.mary's, charles. It doesn't really matter what county you have in what bank, just keep them seperate so you're not listening to more than one county in each bank. you're very welcome, i'm glad I could help, just let me know if you need anything else
