Oh I think he does believe in what he is saying, hence I am in the first group. But I disagree with his message. I will not support any restrictions on rights for law abiding citizens. I am sorry that the real world isn't the Minority Report and we can't restricts rights based on "pre-crimes". When we start holding law abiding citizens accountable for the actions of criminals is when we are no longer a free country.
No one is suggesting locking anyone up for "pre crimes"
Why does it always have to jump to the most dramatic all or nothing?
Does not allowing private citizens to own weapons designed for warm = banning all guns?
There is a common sense middle ground that includes mandatory training, serial number tracking, safety checks and restrictions on some guns types.
