Wow that's an annoying ring-tone. Maybe my hearing loss isn't that bad.

He said it is pretty loud and annoying but I can't hear it other than a very faint high pitch whine.

To be sure he wasn't goofing on me I clicked it again while he was engrossed in a movie and he immediately gave me the googly eye.

It's called the mosquito ringtone. Anyone under the age of twenty-five can hear it as a high pitched noise, because of the frequency it rings at. Kids use it in schools to get text messages without the teacher hearing it.

I'm glad I didn't have the volume turned up all the way on the monitor. Very annoying high pitched squeal.

I heard it and I'm 25... of course my husband says I can hear a cricket fart on the other side of the house. Guess I won't hear it next year?

I am so very blessed

Not even a HINT of a sound, but BG is sitting next to me saying.. "Make it STOP!!"

Who'd a thought, hearing loss after 20 years of tanks and artillery.. oh and assorted other items that go "BANG" real loud.

:yeahthat:

Girl downloaded it on her phone a while back and when she kept getting texts she would giggle....I heard it and after about the 5th one told her to change the ringtone or I was going to take the phone away from her

From what I heard you are suppose to start losing your hearing after the age of 25....it's starts with the high pitch sounds and the only ones that you can hear are the lower ones when you are very old

I will be 43 in February and I can still hear the "whine" when you turn on the vacuum, the microwave and the irritating noise that my bluetooth makes when it is charging....so the theory works for some, not for all

Would THIS face lie?
I am very hard of hearing...I could hear a faint buzzing sound but that's about all...VERY faint....In the next room is my 23 YO son, his 23 YO GF and my 20 YO son and they came storming in where I was and wanted to know what the hell I was doing...They all 3 could hear it very loud...They said it was very annoying...I thought they were joking until the 23 YO girl went back to the bathroom and I played it and she hollered from way in the back that she could hear it...Strange...

Sounds like the piercing shrill that comes out of the TV at my parent's house. No one else can hear it and I have to leave the room. I'm nearly 40 by the way.
