Cancer in remission

Congrats on Remission. My mother lost her battle of Leukemia 2 1/2 years ago. It is WONDERFUL to hear someone is doing well:) Will keep you in my thoughts!

That sounds interesting. I got cooked pretty good too. They said ahead of time it would be like a sunburn... but dang I've never had a burn that bad. ;) Now, just the lymphedema remains. (Radiation is hard on lymph nodes.)

I think my doc and I finally got the chemo side effects licked too.

Anywho, congrats and good luck to ya!

Thanks, I will add that radiation has some interesting side effects. I am 6 months past the last cookout, and I am now getting new internal growth inside the walls of the large intestine. The radiation doc said this would happen right at 6 months, and it sure did. Its just the body in a repair cycle.
