I've been trying to find the answer on this on my own off the internet but the more I research my question the more confused I get. Can someone tell me what the difference is between a Stage IV cancer and a Level IV cancer?? Is there a difference???

I think that they are both the same.
at stage four, the recovery rate is not good. and usally the time given is very short, as in a couple months.

however, my FIL has cancer, and it was diagnosed as stage four, that was last august.
He is still doing well, he does treatments to get his levels in order then goes off of them again. when the levels get back to a certain point, he goes through the treatments again.

in other words, Stage four in many cancers can now be controlled, so dont give up hope if it is someone that you know.

I pray that it is not you.

I was just reading....

I think the levels (for skin cancer) enter into the risk. Looks like it is staged like any of the cancers.

Thats what I was gathering, as your skin too is an organ, its regarded as the same as others. I just don't know why they have levels AND stages, now you see why I was getting confused though. You were probably looking up the same websites I was  Thanks :huggy: I'm still at the point trying to figure out the difference.

I have a girlfriend that had level 4 ovarian cancer. She has made it past the five-year mark. She's fine.

Doesn't matter, they're both caused by exposure to mice

Can we get back on topic? Does anyone offhand have an easy way to explain the difference of levels and stages when it comes to cancer?
