Are there any candy stores around here other then Waldorf mall (if it's even still open) I need those big round lollipops, wax bottles, pop rocks, etc. Bj's has a lot of candy but not really what I'm after. I checked online but I would rather order there as a last resort. My daughter is having a candy shop themed b-day party and really wanted to go to a candy store and pick the stuff out. Thanks:smile:

Thanks I'll check the website and do a search for the store. When I googled candy stores I kept getting annapolis, baltimore, and phonebook sites to search for it.

There's a really neat candy store in North Beach. Has tons of candy...all the candy from when I was a kid and that was a LONG time ago.

Is it Old Town Candy? I forgot there was a candy store in N. Beach. Thanks! I wonder why it didn't come up in any of the searches I did. I'll have to go there w/my daughter and make an afternoon out of it. There were a couple other stores I wanted to visit before but couldn't because I was being rushed by my husband:smile:

I can't think of the name of it. It's just past the "pavillion" on the boardwalk..it's on the left side of the street as you head north.

Funny...my son and his g/f came went there last night. They were oohing and aahing over all of the "old" candy that was there. I told them that I had just posted to someone about the selection of candy. I didn't even know he knew the place existed.

I know the owner of Sweet Dreams candy shop in St Leonard. If she doesn't have what you want in stock, I bet Bonnie would get it for you.

Old Town Candy. Not on the Boardwalk but past Baywalk condos near the Post Office.

They have somewhat random hours.

Old Town Candy is a great little shop! If you are coming from a distance, I would call first to make sure that they will be open. Link with phone number is here. If you're wandering up tomorrow, you might want to stay for our movie on the beach in the late evening/night time. It'll be a good one!

The Dollar King and Five Below (Both in Waldorf) have what you are looking for.

I love to put the wax bottles in the kids goodie bags.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. We will for sure hit up Old Town and Sweet Dreams. I've never even been to St. Leonard. I saw her FB page and it looks like it is a fun little place in there.

I really miss the Candy Lipstick that had the gold foil around 2/3 and surrounded by a clear wrapper. Was red in color. I discovered by research years ago they stopped making them, and then later decided to bring them back, but changed the recipe, and it was nothing like the original.
