Cannon balls for my 2 yr old

J.F. A sus ordenes!
Thanks

Back from the hospital. Looks like I injured the upper half of my achillies tendon. The doc said its designed to "blow out" before the lower half does. Little bit of stretching and ice packs and will be fine after a few days. He told me had I blown out bottom then surgery would be required. Left with crutches and prescription for good drugs which I don't really need.

Thanks for all the advice guys!!! :howdy:

In My Opinion
and is the lesson we learned the one that clearly without any doubt explains in great detail that you are not 10 years old anymore and when things break it hurts worse and longer than before???

Im just curious because the doctors are still telling me that and Im fixin to be 49 here soon.

anyway, keep off it and do as little as possible (this means milk it for all its worth)

hope you're feeling better soon.

:yeahthat: I am pleasantly surprised that recovery should be fairly smooth.

Next time restrict yourself to an easier stunt... think melon balls, not cannon balls.

 I should have read that post before I did cannonballs yesterday.

He and I were a pair yesterday, gimping around his pool. Shortly after hearing of his trip to the ER, I fell off the 12 ft. ladder while attempting to get "just one more step" to get that sheet of drywall to its final resting place. :ohwell:

No trip to the ER for me. How, I'll never know. I'd love to be able to say it's those catlike reflexes of mine though that placed my feet under me after I had envisioned while on the way down, a ride in an ambulance with massive facial injuries and shattered bones. It's amazing how many thoughts are completed in such a short journey with so few spoken words.

Dunno 'bout Flo, but I'm feelin' it today.
