Pretty much.

Remember how Rod played? He NEVER played the puck. He ALWAYS played the man. He was like Velcro, impossible to get away from once he was close to you and you sure weren't gonna get off any kind of decent shot.

If you're playing defense, the man is your problem. The puck is the goalies problem. How hard is that to teach?

OK, but look at the defense. That has been our weakness and it continues to be. We didn't get any of the nice, open looks they got. Theo can't do it all.

:buddies:

Defense wasn't that bad, Threeormore gave up 2 soft goals. Put the russian in for game 2.

Thank You Mr Theodore for giving this game away.

That was a pretty good name that the guy in the Post tagged him with this morning "Threeormore"
Schultz got so faked out on that play, but Threeormore should have stopped it.
Wheres Langway, he could still proably play better then Schutlz, be interesting to see if he(Schultz) is benched and Poither back in for the next game.
Its looking like the "Hot Goalie" syndrome again and its not the Caps with the hot goalie.

Exactly but you can't play that way anymore.
