Did you read the article?

Of course I did; I also know Captain America. He came back from the dead back in the 60's, frozen in a block of ice. And he's had a couple near death ones since.

Apart from Superman, Captain America's gotta be the country's oldest superhero.

OK, thanks... just wondering why you believe he will be back this time.
The other times, there were valid reasons, marketing being one.

It ends a long run for the stars-and-stripes-wearing character, created in 1941 to incarnate patriotic feeling during World War II.
Think he's been dead for a couple of years

True, but...

1. I can think of several that have been killed and resurected in one form or another of the top of my head. Some finally killed after awhile.
2. With cartoons and movies, who reads comics anymore?
3. Aps has a point. How many of the people from #1 can relate to what he stood for anymore? (same applies to Superman) The older generations don't read comics- with exception to the hardcore geeks. And, the younger generations don't read anything that isn't on a food package, TV, or computer screen or have the same morals, patriotism, etc. of the older generations.

So... while it wouldn't suprise me if he was ressurected, I wouldn't count on it happening.

Alright, I'm going to shut up now before I look like more of a :nerd: then I already do.

In 25 years, he'll reappear in an "underground" comic. This time he won't be fighting nazi's, commies or run of the mill bad guys, he'll be fighting the American Ayatola's security forces from his secret headquarters and supporting the christian guerillas in their fight for basic freedoms.

How can Captain America die by a Sniper? It doesn't make any sense. That sucks.

My guess is that he shot him while he wasn't looking. That's what snipers do

Okay, all the bad guys he fought through the years and a sniper kills him. Thats really creative of them.

Uugh. It's even worse. I just read the wiki on Cap. Looks like the one who REALLY does him in is his girlfriend. The sniper just wounds him.

So the enemy of the future isn't terrorists or Muslims or Nazis or Communists - it's those *wimmins*!

(In fairness, she's under hypnotic suggestion).
