Sorry, I just found that funny and kind of amazing for me. Maybe it's because I am just a decade or two younger then Duponster and my first "it's all mine" car was a '59 VW Bug I had when I was in high school.

My first was a 1969 bug

Mine was a USED 69 Bug. I put Baja pipes, twin carbs, Bosch ignition coils on it and it was still slow.

The '59 was nothing but slow, but it was fun picking up the girls when their boyfriend's brand new 'Cuda or Camaro was in the ditch because they couldn't do anything but spin in a couple of inches of smow.
