I research everything, all day, all the time. In fact, I am getting ready to go do more research at the library...

Anyway, the carseat knowledge was because I called a cop friend from high school to install a carseat while I was babysitting.
How do you get cat odor out of an aunt?

Seriously?

Set up a chore reward system. Post it on a dry erase board with pictures and small amounts for each task. You can go simple with the daily things -$.25 for brushing teeth, $.50 for a bath, etc. or towards the truer "chore" tasks like unloading the dishwasher, making the bed, picking up toys. The biggest obstacle is the behavioral thing. If they don't earn the money, they don't get the money. If they are just given the money, why earn it? You have to commit to the system.

It is stupid to pay your child to practice good hygiene.

Are you kidding me? Reward kids for doing what they are taught? Children should do chores as part of being a family and not "rewarded" for it. And PAY them to take a bath? :killingme :roflmao:

Mine cried when I made her walk to the car in her socks because she was dawdling. Was I wrong?
Nah you were easy on her. She could have been forced out in pjs or undies.
