Peace
My son is 7 and weighs 101 punds. He can't even fit in a car seat. In some of our vehicles the seatbelts fit the kids just right and some of our vehicles they use a booster.
Holy crap! I hope he's just really tall.

Have you been to Waldorf lately? I don't think I'd let my kid walk from the door to the car!
I do before care (one kid) and drive a neighbors kid too. Plus I have to drive my oldest, and three other kids to middle school that is a mile and a half away. We all leave at the same time. I drop the younger kids first and pull back around to get the older ones. Just makes it easier.
Plus, I live in Bannister. Enough said, huh.

It makes sense...now.
Oh, and I don't know where/how Bannister is..I'm just going by the number of kids thing.
My son is 10 and not yet 80lb. He would have a heart attack if I drove him 2 blocks to school in a 5 point harness car seat. Not gonna happen.
Feed that Boy!

hmmm he is 52 inches I think.. He is as tall as my 9 year old, but yes he does have some meat on his bones but he isn't fat.

You can quote facts and expert advice all you want. But not every parent no matter how loving they are to thier children can afford a $250 car seat.
At the rate Celie is going she'll be in a car seat when she's driving.

She'll just do what you do and sit on three phone books to look over the steering wheel.
