Good morning everyone! I need some input---has anyone tried any of the services at Caribbean Tan and Spa in Leonardtown? From what I hear they do tanning, massage therapy, body wraps and facial toning. I want to know the good, the bad and the ugly....c'mon, fill me in...if you or anyone you know has been there, let me know the results and opinions. Thanks!

Havn't heard of it. How set are you on staying in Leonardtown for this? Are you going for a tan or a massage? If its for a tan, hypothetically, I know of a place in Charllotte Hall that has great price on tans and never a line or waiting for a bed. Its Pleasure Island next to the lighthouse liquor store and their packages are really super cheap... hypothetically of course.

Oh, no problem, I'm just trying to get any dirt before I commit to something that could sink my ship, so to speak...

I have tanned there....gosh I almost feel like I am wasting my austrailian gold V lotion when I put in on and after 3 weeks.... I still feel like it was a waste of my time and money with the beds. They need to be refurbished big time! New beds in general... new bulbs..or higher wattage or something..I dunno. I love the people that work there. Such a sweet and friendly staff. I like the choice of the minute tanning.....but it is kind of a rip-off in the end. There aren't any places around here that offers cheap tanning.... I have no idea why it costs fifty bucks a month to tan here.....ahh!!!

I haven't been in yet, but I have an appt tomorrow to look over the place and the financial aspects, etc.. What kind of beds do they have? Just the lay-down type? How busy is it when you go in???

during the week between 4-6pm when I go....its not bad at all...most of the beds are open...there are six lay down beds and one stand-up I believe.

Fifty bucks a month That's waaaaayyy too much What time of day were you using the beds? If its in the morning I hear the beds and bulbs arn't warmed up... by the time they are warmed up, your sessino is over :shrug: Just going on what I hear and all :shrug: If you are dead set on tanning this way, perhaps you should try the evenings or later in the day :shrug: Good luck and be careful!

Great...I can't wait to see it all tomorrow.....Isn't it on the second floor of an office building? How does that work out? Sounds odd for a tanning salon...

Yep two short flights of stairs...go through double doors...turn right....suite 106... yeah very very odd...
