I finally was able to go to the site..very interesting..do you know the deminsions of the box?? How much is the set up price per box? I need at least 10 boxes...So you found this set up cheaper then the scoopable..I am going to try several and then follow through with one choice...

I will say the Worlds best is not impressing me with the size of the bag for the price :faint:

They way I am doing it is replacing one box per payday. This way I can get a set of pads and a bag of litter. Since the litter lasts so long and the pads last a long time too, I would think it would work out in the end.

Did the website not give the dimensions? I don't remember, about the size of a regular litter box.

With the 10 dollar coupon 23 something. I have gotten two coupons so far, so I don't know how many you can get each time you visit. I got one when I bought then first box and then a few weeks later got another.

What's one more bird?
MB - I just want to say for the record since we're talking kitty litters, I didn't think about it while at your house, but I didn't smell kitties! I'm kinda over the top on that, I love cats but the smell can drive me up a wall (but a million birds - now that smells great :nerd:) I just thought I would mention that - hadn't even thought about it until this thread :)
Paso - I really love the Worlds Best, it's a fantastic litter - but it is soooo high :( For my one kitty it's definately worth it.

my dogs go ape shiat to go places..they see me getting my shoes on and my purse and they BEG to go..

You carry a purse? I had a purse back when I was 18. Lost two of them off my motorcycle then never bought another. If I need to carry stuff I always grab a saddle bag instead:)

Sorry for coming in late to the party; I've been out of town. :)

I like World's Best - I've found that I have to do a complete box change less often than with the clay litters.

I've also tried the Breeze system that Mousebaby uses, but the plastic box smells like urine; changing the pads doesn't get rid of the smell. Perhaps they fixed that in the later boxes. The boys would urinate in it, but no one liked it for solids (including me, it did not cover smell). I had other boxes out that they could use for solid waste.

Also tried Nature's Miracle - THAT will STINK until you scoop it. Yuck. Even hubby was willing to scoop boxes when we had that, and he always leaves that chore for me. :smack:

We've tried some of the blue crystals - I loved them, but one of the boys wouldn't switch and started using the carpet. I think the granules were too big.

Just for comparison, I have 4 cats - 3 boys and 1 girl, all fixed, and 5 boxes.

So now that I have :cough: cats in the house I need to switch litter. I have always just gone with cheap litter in the cattery and picked daily and changed to the bottom and chloroxed about every 5-7 days...Now that they are in the house including 3 whole males :faint: (NO sprayers I bred those out years ago thank god) I need some "good" litter. I have been picking boxes every several times a day...Peeps in and out said they can not smell them but I want to make sure. So I sent kiddo out tonight to get "worlds best cat litter" $21 for 17 lbs...more then what I am used to spending..But I am not paying the $1000+ heating bill yearly in the cattery anymore so I can afford good litter..and a bag of "the blue granuals" I have tidy cat scoopable in there now..what do you all use? Any pros or cons? TVM

I have two female cats and I use fresh step I think it works great and covers the scent quit well.

I've been using the BJ's brand clumping litter. I think it works well (better than Tidy Cat) - covers the odor quickly and actually clumps and hold when you scoop.

Seems people (and their cats) either love it or hate it; not much in between. You do have to get used to the odd smell. I have 2 customers that buy it regularly and it IS very expensive. I have never seen it go on sale by my distributor- if it did, I would stock up and sell it at a lower price!

I like it I have bought 4 bags now two small ones at like $22 each and the large one was I think almost $40....its good though..wont use the blue granuals anymore though..with whole males I like to get the urine out not leave it there..
