It wasn't amazing or awesome scary, it was just scary to me. Those are the kind of movies that get to me very badly.

ya, The very last second of the movie was the best.

Yeah...

I watched it the whole time with an expectation that it was going to scare me in some way, shape, and/or form... and it didn't, at all. I watched the special features and all the emotions the director wanted out of the viewer I didn't feel watching this movie... but I did watching the movie IT (which, btw, usually finds me curled up in a ball with a blanket to hide behind).

I EFFING LOVE IT all the way up to the very end... I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disapointed in the end. It was like they ran outta money.

The movie It doesn't scare me. Stephen King movies don't bother me.

The remake of War of the Worlds (one with Tom Cruise) completely messed with me to the point I could not sleep for a week without having a nightmare.

I know I'm a oddball but that was a given.

I love that movie too... I bought it just because I didn't want to go to the video store and find it not there. Tim Curry as Pennywise, though... great, I'm gonna be all freaked out tonight again thinkin' about it. I agree with you on the end, though... a giant spider? WTF was that?

That's the only Stephen King movie that gets me. The other horror movie that always gets me is Night of the Demons... I always jump at the same parts every time, even though I know they're coming.

It's not so much that you're an oddball, it's just that different things scare different people. Aliens and home invasions scare you... clowns and demons scare me

 It didn't look like you were scared to me...

I heard it was based on real events... thats what scares me, I haven't seen it yet

Funny thing those real events it's based on... The story given at the beginning of the movie is fake. Per the writer/director, what the movie was based on are two totally unrelated events. As a kid, the director had someone knock at his door asking for someone who didn't even live there, and later found out that every home that was empty that night in his neighborhood was robbed. That's where the "strangers" part of it came in to play. What happens to the people was based on the Manson "Helter Skelter" killings, which weren't really all that random. The result is a made up home invasion story called "The Strangers" which has a sequel being written as we speak.
