I'm wondering if anyone knows of a catering company or a restaurant locally that you can also hire a waiter. Its for a small bridal shower. Ideas?

Seeking clarification:

You want them to provide food AND a waiter?

Or do you just want the waiter?

Do they have a wait staff for hire?

at a private home locally

For the event I went to, there was a wait staff included, but I would think it depends on how many people. You said this was a small event, sounds like something you might want to have a banquet type thing set up.

I have a business acquaintance that had her wedding reception done by Dream Weaver this past spring, and she said it was excellent; and she was on a tight budget. They even do the fam portions, instead of per plate. I was going to suggest them, but Greg beat me to it!

If you still need a photographer for the wedding, may I suggest Sampson Images. My acquaintance used him, she showed me the pics, and they were awesome; some are on his website. He is a forum member (corrolinout). I wish I could have used him, but my daughter had already committed to a photog for her wedding next May before I had any input. I would have used him. Have you seen the pics he has posted here? They are awesome.
