CD from the County

Anybody else get a CD in the mail entitled St.Mary's County, Embracing Progress...? I'm listening to it now, (would only play on the computer) and it's about development in the County.

Did you threat scan it before you played it? I wonder if someone with a novel way of delivering a virus/trojan is at work here.

The Public Information Office sent it out. I too wonder why citizens who have lived here for years had that sent to them. A lot of people tried to play it in their DVD player, which is what you would think it would be, but it's not. Glad my taxes are working for a good cause.

This is the famous BRAC video that the Navy Alliance, Chamber of Commerce, and our Commissioners are using to make a case for St. Mary's County. People who received the video would be generally regarded as influential citizens, possibly board members of organizations, volunteers, etc. Citizens were also invited to request a copy of the video. For those who didn't receive a copy, you can view it online at the county website, stmarysmd.com and the link is on the top-right side of the home page.
