Cedar Point Federal Credit Union

I'm very much considering just using CPFCU for savings. At one time I was ordering carburetors straight from China and I would have to contact CPFCU to "release" my account for foreign transactions for payment to clear. I never had that problem with NFCU. Although, CPFCU allowed a fraudulent charge from 1-800flowers to go through, no questions asked.
When I was making direct China purchases, it was a bit cumbersome to get everything cleared by CPFCU before the purchases went thru, sometimes 3-4 tries. But I'd rather do that than have to unscrew an overseas purchase that I did not make. I've had one fraud on my card a few years back, and it was 2 months before I got it cleared and got my funds back.

I've never had a problem. Works as advertised.
strange, my app worked briefly a long time ago and hasn't worked since, as someone said, it barfs.
What I have had problems with, well not me personally, is that the changes they made for security can be a PIA.
The limit of 6 electronic transfers a month. I try to budget so (a) I don't need to transfer money and (b) plan the transfers so I don't have to do more than one.
The secondary token can also be a PIA particularly if two people (joint account) want to use online banking.
It only accepts one phone number.

Been a long time since I programmed in my number, but I do remember it accepts a couple of other forms of contact, like an email. If you get email on your phone as well as text, you can still easily do the secondary token with more than one person.

The problem was (is) that only the primary (first name) on the account could make changes, this meant the spousal unit had to go to the bank and request a change from the default (her information). While I am the primary user (pay bills, balance the account and all that), she was the first name on the account when it was opened many moons ago.
Like I said, I understand the reason and appreciate it's to protect the account, but the primary member is not very tech savvy and rather impatient.
Which means when she tries to use something, and it doesn't work "right" she goes off the edge and then screws things up even more.

I use Navy Federal and they don't have any branches in the State of Indiana.

I can't remember the last time I actually walked into any branch of NFCU. Between the Website, direct deposit, and the phone app with mobile deposit, there hasn't been any reason to walk into a branch office.

CPFCU has mobile deposit also. Very easy to use.
I haven't tried mobile deposit at CPFCU. The boss will let me go out to deposit my check payday morning. I light a cigg on my way to the car and I'm back before I've finished my smoke.

I still make occasional visits to the CPFCU lobby. Deposit checks, turn in my loose coin, car loans....

I truly HATE the way their new platform interacts with Quicken.

Me too. There is an inexplicable (to me) day lag between when something posts online and Quicken picks it up. So I end up manually entering the data anyway.

I've never been able to get Navy-Fed to work with quicken again since they modified their site.
