or whatever its called. there was a million people there so i'm not sure what the buzz was about but at 20 bucks a pop, what the hell was there to do? buy over price defrosted food, jewelry, t-shirts, googled last name history, watch a band playing cover tunes. Anyway, never seen so many white folks happy over drinking beer and wearing skirts.

But if you were drinking beer outside listening to music with no underwear on you be happy too.:buddies:
You did know when men wear a kilt they go commando?????

As much as I love going to festivals, listening to music, seeing friends, etc., there is absolutely no way that I could ever in a thousand years go to the Celtic Festival.

My dislike - no, HATE - of bag pipes, is so great that I'd rather eat chicken shiat, clean out my closet, and put my tongue on a hot exhaust pipe than participate in that little bit of Hell.

I do believe that Satan is the one that originated the concept of bagpipes, and he is playing bagpipes in his little corner of the underworld.

:huggy:

How about some bagpipes for those who say they don't like bagpipes

I dare not click on the video, because I know that me poking out my own eardrums at work will not constitute a valid Workman's Compensation case.

Besides not liking bagpipes, I've always immensely disliked that song. Two bad things in one song.....there is nothing there for me to like, other than Anthony.

For the musicians out there, these guys are truly amazing in that bagpipes aren’t tuned to play in a normal key. A standard bagpipe which is properly tuned falls somewhere between B flat and B. It can somewhat be adjusted to a concert pitch of B flat so that if you’re playing with other instruments you’re in tune with each other. Bagpipes also do not play sharps and flats although there is a way around that with C sharp and F sharp. Great but how else does that effect things? For a guitar player you might normally play a song in A, now to play with bagpipes you’d have to transpose the music into E flat or some other odd key. Not too bad for a rhythm guitarist but try transposing a rock and roll lick into some obscure key. For pianists how many songs can you play without using any black keys? How do I know all this? My dad (RIP) played bagpipes for over 40 years and I was lucky if I could even get them to squeak.
