Chance 2

The old owners would bring in a new technician and then put out sign saying new management. That's why there seemed to be so many "new" managers. Right now John has had to dump a lot of money into the business, getting equipment running and ordering supplies, etc and hasn't had the incoming business to help offset expenses. I trust John to work on my car. He's been working on cars a long time. I've know him for a while now. Browyn I would call him back and remind him. He's got a lot going on right now. At least give the guy a chance. It's hard starting your own business. Especially when you take over a business that had such a bad reputation.

I met the previous owner when it was STAR. Not a very nice fellow and I feel sorry for the new owner having to try to bring a shop back from that. Good Luck to him and hope he can make something of the place, good auto shops are few and far between in Calvert.

Real original ain't it? I wonder if Dale Jr. knows about this little outfit.
I thought the same thing when I saw this name. It has been done before - a celebrity hears of someone using a company name close (or in this case, identical) to theirs and they file an injunction to stop them from using it.

Remember Jimmy Buffett having a snit over "Cheeseburgers in Paradise?"

I wouldn't quite call copyright infringement "a snit", but yes I do remember that.

Customers can complain about the dealerships all they want but they are a lot more reliable than the independent shops we have available around here. If you can't do the work yourself, you are a lot safer going to the manufacturers dealer or as some call them, "stealer". The small stuff like brake jobs, mufflers, plugs, etc. will cost you more because you're getting Mopar, Delco or Ford original parts but the big stuff like engines and transmissions can actually cost you less and will include a good factory warranty. It is not difficult to find a dealer that will discount the big parts(not the labor). Compare a "re manufactured" Jasper engine with a GM new crate motor. Dodges eat transmissions, compare any transmission shop rebuilt with a Ralph's Dodge factory guaranteed rebuilt.
