I liked this one:

"I don't think we're even at the right accident but we'll get there soon"

Does sound like it's a bit heavier south of Prince Frederick (for now)

Did you hear that sisters are stuck at different places? Sounds like one wrecked and the sister was going to get her and now she is stuck.

How can CRE not salt the roads, and get away with that? That's just irresponsible and going to cause major problems for the Police and Fire Departments. They should be held responsible in some way for not being prepared.

Just got home from LP picking up the wife from work.... Wow it's nuts. Half the people are going so slow they are gravity sliding into the ditch, the other half are going to fast and can't stop/turn.... We made it ok though, despite the best efforts of an SUV to involve us in a wreck... too fast, turned into Rousby from 4, slid and curbed it... blocking the lane. Squeeked by in a controlled skid, waved, and made it home just fine :)

I just don't get it.. WHY do people go out in this? I know some have to work and some have no choice but seriously this many people need to be out? They put everyone at risk.

People are asking my hubby how to drive in the snow. If you don't know how to drive in it STAY HOME! :duh:

Some people dont have a choice...health care workers have to go in...they dont seem to have an emergency plan for this kind of event. You have to come in, it doesn't matter, figure it out or you are fired.

CRE is always bad in any snow.

Actually CRE roads in the past have been much better than the main roads during and after the storm. But with all the mismanagement and allocating funds for lawsuits rather than roads and ammenities we are screwed this year. No man power or money to plow like years past.

I get that some people have to be out there.. but their were hundreds and hundreds of people out last night going up and down Rt 4. A majority of those people were not working.

We were traveling in it last night. Had a party in Waldorf, left at 9:38 and arrived home in LP at 11:20. I drove 30-35 the entire way. Lots of stupid drivers passing me and I have a big donkey SUV! I didn't witness any crashes, but we certainly passed several accidents and people in ditches. Lots of BMW's off to the side. :lmao:

Drum Point has already plowed, but I've got no reason to go anywhere today, especially with all the idiots out there. Time for another pot of coffee.:coffee:
