Does this include dogs that are in kennels?

I wish it did! We have a neighbor whose dog is kenneled, and it stays out 24/7. Barks around the clock! We've filled out so many bark logs, we've probably helped to kill the Rain Forest! We can't even enjoy our backyard most days. :ohwell:

Bears aren't domesticated and they can make fire.

These dogs aren't domesticated either. His are coon hounds and my parents are malamutes. Just because you choose to keep your dog inside does NOT mean that it's necessary for all dogs to be inside.

So, they are wild dogs?

No. They're well taken care of pets that live outside. They're happy and healthy, year round. Like most animals, their bodies and coats thicken up during the winter and thin out during the summer. It's called nature.

If you have the means to keep them as comfortable as possible, then do so. My dog is my friend... I don't leave my friends outside to fend with the weather.
I agree.

My post was in reference to animalluvr4life comment: "In my books its inhumane especially when its really cold or extremely hot out."

People that think animals rate the same as humans are creepy and stupid.
