Did they get the GSD? I saw (it) while I was there and what a pretty dog! I did a double take when I saw it.

They had a beautiful female yellow lab - Sunny, I think her name was. She was very friendly when I said hello to her.

Can't wait until I have a fixed schedule and can volunteer some time there.

This couple have been trying to find a larger breed pup. Our rescue does not really have what she is looking for at this time so I mentioned to her about going up to the Humane Society and mentioned the GSD cause that sounds right up her alley. I gave her their number to call and she said she is going to try and go up there so I am keeping my fingers crossed :)

I hope they do! If he's anything like his sister, they will be extremely happy with him! My friend also told me that he looks very much like his sister, Delilah!

UPDATE: I was just at the HSCC and they said Samson was adopted! The yellow lab is still there. Such a pretty girl.

And many many many kittehs.

I'm so surprised that lab is still there. She seemed like a real honey. We can't take on a big dog right now or I'd be very tempted.

There were two labs in the run, one lighter and one darker. One doggie was 2 and the other was 11. One of them had an "I'm adopted" sign but I'm not sure which one it was for since they were in the run together. Both were very sweet and well mannered.

Thanks for the update on Samson. Delilah is being spayed Thursday and I plan to sign her adoption papers then. She is doing so well, I can't believe she has only been with us for 13 days.
