That's weird. I did a search and it didn't come up with anything

I dont think we will be seeing Tata's in this country for a while. I somehow doubt a car built as cheaply as this will pass the myriad Emissions controls, the American Highway Safety Standards , or the EPA tests,

I did find this India's Tata Motors developing uber-cheap plastic automobile - Engadget , not sure I am quite ready to hit the beltway in a plastic car.

And to think, that's the same company that is the front runner to buy Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford.
