I went there about a month ago, and the wait was ridiculous. The place was almost empty, and we still sat for 15 mins without a waitress coming to the table. We left and will most likely not go a second time.

I thought that was you, we left shortly after you got there. You missed the VERY loud obnoxious band right at dinner time AND the beer girl that handed Miraccas (sp) to all the kids in the restaurant. Happy Cinco de Mayo!!
The service was HORRIBLE, I think something was going on behind the scenes that we missed. :shrug:

I used to work there and that was probably the only food I would turn down
I have to say, being in there trying to eat when the band is so loud (not always, but sometimes) is DEFINITELY a turn off. I don't really want to feel like I'm in a club or at a concert when I'm going to eat/converse :shrug: (though, I usually do get great service, if I have a waitress I used to work with at least

They didn't have those when I worked there
I was there for ALMOST the first year, then quit because of my base opportunity.
I think there are recipes online for those fried pickles :shrug:

Lord have mercy girl, that's been a Southern favorite for a hundred years...Dill pickles, flour/cornmeal mixture, spices..
..and deep fried in peanut oil...................
