The scoop!!!

Ok, since she hasn't posted yet, but I know she was going to....I spoke to the daughter this morning. It is the grandson who is going to reopen. He grew up in the business. He is planning on being there for at least this season. She said they have to be out in two years for the land to be developed. She also said he is not planning on selling crabs. The daughter has a full time career elsewhere now, and her father is very busy, as well. I am guessing he will end up there too. I wish them luck.

Would that be Louis Goldstein's property? His house/land is behind Chesapeake Bounty. Just curious...

I guess it must be since the development is from Sixes road and will connection to the Whispering Woods development.

What I don't understand is why they are waiting until Oct. 1 instead of Sept. 1. What are they going to sell in Oct. other than pumpkins, firewood and X-mas trees in Dec? Can't be making that much money that it would be worth it to open. Though I am glad they are opening back up. Hope they change their mind about selling crabs. That's where I used to get mine from.

It's one of those little side of the road places that sells veggies and plants and pumpkins and Christmas trees. Across from Adam's on rt. 4.

The wife and I were wondering about that place too.
