Ok, to date I have driven a:

-Ford Ranger
-F 150
-Dodge Dakota.

So far I am digging the F-150 more than the others.

Maybe I'll check out Toyota and Nissan tonight...
Chevy or a GMC :yay:

I bought a Honda Ridgeline RTL right after Thanksgiving. Inside, it's like a nice SUV with leather and sunroof with lots of room. The drive is quiet and smooth. Underneath, it's 4WD and switches to Front Wheel Drive when there is no slippage. Fuel economy averages 18-18.5 with my normal short round trip totalling about 15-20 miles per day. On the highway, I get 21-22mpg with several trips on the odometer now. And there's a 5 foot truck bed when I want to bring bags of mulch home. There's a trunk in the truck bed which can double as a beer cooler!

Awesome truck! GM, Ford, Dodge, Toyota and Nissan actually have competition from outside the box. And Honda has done their homework!!
Oh man, I would love to have one of those, but they were slightly out of our price range. I like the fact that it's a truck, but it still has "inside" storage space (the little compartment in the bed). We went with an XTerra, and I love that thing to death.

I bought a Ranger extended cab from Aldridge :yay: I REALLY wish I would have bought the Sport Track or a crew cab 150. The jump seats don't really cut it and I would like the extra room. The boys at Aldridge treated me very well. They let me test drive it over a three day weekend (it was used so the mileage wasn't an issue). I'll go back there when I am ready to trade.

I'll check those as well, I am gonna drive em all and what ever feels the best, that is what I am going with.

I got the 05 Z-71 GMC SIERRA 4x4 extended cab fully loaded leather, seat warmers,xm radio, bed liner etc. at princefredrick gmc $26,495 gets 17mpg around the county. Drove it to Newriver and got 18.7mpg I have 12k miles and no problems yet. It does not park as easy as my F150 did.

Whatever you do, DON'T drive a Honda Ridgeline. It will redefine the meaning of truck after kicking the tires of the Ford/Dodge/GM/Toyota/Nissan varieties.

I'm sure it will. How do you put a tool box or a bed cover on one?

At least it's American. You should have seen all the people tsk-tsking when Ford announced the layoffs. Then I asked them what THEY drove. :eyebrow:
