Boy, does that ever sound good!!! I'm gonna stop on the way home this afternoon and pick up stuff to make chili and corn bread this weekend!!!!

I made chili last night..it is such a cheap meal! Nicks has ground beef on sale and I got hte food lion brand "chili beans", hot seasoning mix, and rotel..for so much cheaper. Added a few diced jalepenos..and

I thought flank steak was also inexpensive meat (but also great for chili). Well, maybe not as inexpensive as ground meat maybe...


Our chili is simmering right now, though I got a late start on it. Another new combination of 'gredients, always good to wait and see how it turns out. Smells good.

YUM!!! Both versions look great!! A little dollop of sour cream is good in a bowl of chili!!!
